Snowed in for 3 days!

A few days before Christmas we had a HUGE snowstorm! Everything was shut down for 3 days including schools, universities, stores, churches, airports, downtown DC and everything else around DC you can think of! We had so much fun being stuck inside for three days. We made every kind of Christmas cookie, dessert, chocolate you can think of, we watched movies, we read, played in the snow, had church at home, shoveled out the loooong drive way, learned to rope, and made gingerbread houses.

Grandma taught Payton how to count money.

Elder Ross, who is the National Roper for his age, taught us how to rope. Bailey and Payton both caught the cow on their 1st try! We all had so much fun learning to rope. Elder Ross gave Bailey, Payton, and Cannon a rope to keep!

We had church at home. The AP's and office elders live close by and had a big truck so they made it over to my parents house for church with us. The elders were suppose to speak in sacrament so they already had talks prepared!

Dad, Taylor, the AP's and office elders all shoveled the neighbors driveway for them.

For Family Night the elders came over with a new convert and we had a lesson and made gingerbread houses.
