We decided to grow our first garden this year. Taylor built the area where we planted the garden and he did most of the planting and watering. He loves salsa so the main thing he wanted to plant was everything he likes in salsa. He planted cherry tomatoes, roma tomatoes, peppers, onions, cilantro and a few more things. Then we planted 2 lime trees, 2 lemon trees, and 2 orange trees. Next to the salsa garden we planted watermelon, honeydew melon and cucumbers. Taylor has been able to make salsa many times this summer straight from the garden! We were so proud of ourselves because we have never seen anything grow before and it has been fun for our kids to help throughout the process.
