Nevada Day
For Nevada Day the 4th graders had the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers come. They had 8 stations they went and learned things from. Some of the things were milking a cow and churning it into butter (I love Baileys face in the first picture!), how to make a fire and what they ate, toys the pioneer children played with, how to wash clothes, what to bring in the handcart, and they learned some fun line dances! It thought it was so neat that they did this on Nevada Day which is also Halloween instead of just having a party. The day before they went up to Red Rock and learned about the earlier Nevadans. What a neat experience for the kids!
