First Talks in Sacrament

We were asked to be the speakers in Beatty today. Beatty is a little town 2 hours outside of Las Vegas. Their branch is in our stake, so on the fourth Sunday every month someone from our stake goes to speak in their sacrament meeting. Our Bishop called us on Thursday and asked us to speak, he told us to pick whatever topic we wanted to speak on. I immediately knew I wanted to speak on missionary work because of all the wonderful stories I have been hearing from my parents who are serving as Mission Presidents in the Washington DC South Mission. I told Bailey she was going to give a talk and Payton she was going to sing a song with daddy. Bailey was excited and said okay, but Payton said she wasn't singing she was going to give a talk like Bailey.
Payton gave a talk about Samuel the Lamanite and how he was a missionary. She did an amazing job! She never said she was nervous or that she didn't want to go up, she just said okay when I told her she was going to go first. I was so proud of her! What a brave 5 year old!
Bailey didn't want any help writing a talk or a testimony, she said she was going to do it all by herself. She didn't even want us to go up with her. She is very stubborn and when she has her mind made up she knows what she wants. When she got up she said something like, "Hi, my name is Bailey Sinquefield and my testimony today is on goodness. I know everyone can be good like Nephi. He was a prophet who taught the people. I try to teach people to. My best friend Jayme does not go to church and I will try to teach her about the church. My cousin Brody doesn't go to church. I talked to him about getting baptized. I hope we can all teach about the church. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen. " She did an incredible job! I couldn't believe she did that without any help in sacrament at the age of 7! They are both such good little missionaries and examples!
