Payton's kindergarten class went on a field trip to pick pumpkins at Gilcrease Orchards. It was lots of fun! The kids were so excited to pick their very own pumpkin. Payton was looking for a "a really little cute one." Her class only has 4 girls and 4 boys, which makes it easy for field trips. Gilcrease Orchards is such a fun place, they grow all kinds of fruits and vegetables that you can go pick and then purchase. They also have hundreds of apple trees and make their own delicioius apple juice! They gave us a tour of how the apple juice is made and then the kids got to drink fresh apple juice.
These first 2 pictures of the apple juice machines are mixed up. First the apples are cleaned and scrubbed in the first machine. Second they are squished in the machine with blue and red. Third picture the juice is in those big tanks and fourth picture is where the juice comes out of.
After Gilcrease Orchards we went to the park to play and have a picnic!
